Blue Fairy Acres

A full boarding facility in beautiful upstate New York. We focus on nutrition and quality care for your horse. We are a hunter/jumper and show jumping barn that focuses on the connection between horse and rider.

We are working on making our stables a beautiful fantasy-themed barn that will take your breath away. Come and enjoy the relaxing, family atmosphere. We are a no drama barn that believes in the spirit and love of horsemanship.

“A magical place Where every horse is a dream come true, geldings are princes, mares are wishes, and we believe every rider can fly…”

We have 10’ x 12’ and 12’ x 12’ stalls available (call to check for availability). Hot & cold wash stalls inside the barn. Grooming bay for easy tacking up and a cozy tack room for boarders. Enjoy hours of riding in our 70’ x 140’ indoor arena, 75’ x 150’ outdoor arena, large cross country arena, and on property trails.

Blue Fairy Acres is a beautiful facility, just a couple miles north of the Weedsport Thruway exit. My horse settled in immediately and has enjoyed consciousness care and attention from all in the family. He gets daily turn out, a very important factor for me, with blankets, fly spray, fly masks....whatever is needed, fully attended to. I am so excited to have found Blue Fairy! My horse is wonderfully cared for and I’ve found new friends. Check it out!

Jamee Swope

Hunter/Jumper, Clicker Training, & Liberty

Jamee’s passion for horses started close to 2 years old, and has grown stronger ever since. Jamee successfully competed successfully in “A” rated shows in the hunter and equitation divisions, as a teen up to a young adult. After showing the local circuit, her goals and aspirations of training, and helping others accomplish their own goals, came quickly there after. Jamee has trained for private clients since 2009. She worked her way up, working, training, riding at most of the local hunter/ jumper barns in Skaneateles N.Y. Jamee spent a year in Ocala, FL managing, riding, training and learning new techniques and skills such as breaking and training, as well as liberty work. She got to work at a sales barn for a previous Olympic rider and also got to run children summer camps, and teach lessons as well! Jamee came back to NY and managed Marcellus Equestrian Center for two years. They offered training, selling boarding and Jamee built a lesson program there! She then took a couple of years off from managing and training for other clients and owners. Spent lots of quality time connecting with herself and her own animals, and was led to a program that valued horses for more than just a show record, bloodlines, or even ride-ability. After finding the right program she completed her certification through EAGALA as an Equine Specialist. Jamee decided to start her own business, New Day Equine Services. The main focus was working as a team, teaming up with specialists and horses to offer a safe haven where children and adults can learn to heal, and be the best versions of themselves. While that business has slowed, she has been able to put what she has learned and mesh it with the training and riding lessons! Since then in less than a year, she has grown and kept up with a growing and successful lesson business!

“My training as well as my riding and interactions with others as well as the horses means quite a bit to me! How I show up for myself and others is my focus, and having an open mind and a positive focus leads me to taking a different approach than I used to. I’m super proud of what I have to offer, and I really look forward to building more mindful, honest, open, and safe work with humans and horses! I am excited to continue my work and branch out my services here at this location, and I am thrilled to do more of the work I love!”
